Yes, the forwards were really poor, no fire or intensity. Queensland moved it up field too easily and not enough metres from the NSW forwards.

I guess max king would have done a fair bit of work, but he seemed absolutely invisible. Stefano continues to be a weak defender and is terrible around the ruck with his movement.

Angus isn't the player he was last year, young is in much better form.

Finally, Grant's service around the ruck was a lot better than Robson's. Nice changes of direction and good playing the forwards onto the ball.

Haas was also very well contained.

Even after game 2 it was obvious QLD weren’t in the same class.
QLD is always really tough to beat when they are playing for something extra to the series win.
Hate to mention it, but Munsters loss had a lot to do with that performance.

They play a completely different role in their teams,
NSW & Penrith
Fullback and Wingers have at least one hit up each set.
All end up with big metres for the stats guys.
QLD
Don’t ask their back 3 to do as much of the dirty work so they are much fresher when an attacking opportunity appears.

It all depends on what the coach wants out of his back 3.

I personally would take Hammer over Edwards.

But that’s because I prefer the more dangerous attacking threat.

Others prefer the yardage eaters.
