I think that was evident when he was at Saints. When we signed him I was hoping for a revival of form, but alas…no.

We have gone so far backwards. We outplayed this Warriors team at Campbelltown earlier in the year when they were full strength. We weren't even close to winning today. And we have been very fortunate with injuries (Bula is our only injured player), and yet we have still gone backwards.

I think we are even lucky to be on 6 wins. We were lucky to play the Roosters during origin, lucky that Hynes hit the post for his field goal, lucky that Sua dropped the ball. The only game I think we were unlucky to lose was the Souths game, where Galvin should have scored.

Something I notice, not just in this game but across the board. Is that often the team that gets attacking momentum does so by rolling through the ruck. The players constantly stand up and steal one to two metres as they stand up to play the ball and it has the markers retreating. It is rarely officiated on and it means that the defensive team either has offside markers, or only one onside. It frustrates me to watch but I also don’t understand at this point why the Tigers don’t try the same method?

Yoy are spot on and it is so blatant - it drives me nuts. Whay have rules about playing it on the mark and having the defence back 10m if you aren't going to police it. We are silly for not exploiting it, or going to have a chat to the referee prior to "seek direction" so that you ensure he enforces it.

To be fair I think I've seen us try and we get pulled up on it.. maybe we just aren't as good as the other sides at doing it

100% mate, he thought he could just Sheens it in. Unfortunately he doesnt have the cubs of 2003 at his disposal that Sheens had. The bloke was never coached as a player, its well documented Sheens and Uncle Wayne let him do whatever he wanted. Its a far cry from a naturally gifted child turned athlete that never had to work at it to all of a sudden be the coach of a failing team. He never had answers, he never will, even Sheens doesnt take his call anymore. No answers and no ideas.
