OFFICIAL Jarome Luai - #295

The roster is still not strong enough to compete week to week. The Warriors showed the standard for a pack that is top eight worthy. They completely dominated us. When we were in the attacking zone we were able to find some success we just couldn't get in that position enough.

I'll give you one guarantee....he won't leave. No club (including the new teams coming) will pay as much as we are paying for him. He is the most secure player we have on the roster....and 2nd place is not close.
Think he will be Perths marque player..same $$..fresh start away from this self imposed mess

Had a mate at the game , he messaged me , Luai not a happy camper said he was screaming at the forwards all game and not in a nice way plenty F bombs , he was really pissed at them , said we just looked like had not much idea , he is a kiwi and said coach brilliant player but may not be the one to get us up the ladder
Luai definitely has his faults, and in most peoples eyes not earning his pay check, but he should have been tearing strips off them. I saw he did the same when there was a loose ball in second half and the outside backs didn't respond at all. Our transitions are a disgrace. We stand there and watch, no thoughts about it being an opportunity for attack or to change any momentum. Compare that to the peak Panthers, current Bulldogs, Storm, Qld in Origin the list goes on, we would be close to the bottom of it.

These are the things he was brought here for, to change the attitude, lift the standards to near enough isn't good enough. He needs to be better and lead the way with better discipline, but I want him ripping into players for missing their assignment. If the players can't meet the standard, ship them out.

It's called leadership!

He "cares" about standards unlike the forum pet Doueihi!!

Poor guy???

He can try not blowing our chances with stupid penalties.
You can't fault his efforts. Form is temporary, class is permanent.

Any effort plays, he shows up for them. It's not working out with his skill levels right now, but that will come with playing with the same people day in, day out.

I'm glad he did.

We've lost a lot of games this year due to lack of effort plays but this game we lost due to lack of skill, shape, effort and got dominated in contact too.

What’s the point of owning a Ferrari if you never take it for a spin? What’s the point of having a decent roster if they can’t win for him?
because we had the worst/youngest roster in the league last year and at least this year we’ve been competitive. even teams struggling like the titans have origin & international players. have to start from somewhere.

It’s the difference between ability and responsibility. When both are combined in the same package, ah that’s when the magic happens.
There are still too many in our 17 lacking in both.

We’re always starting. Never seem to finish though.

Any good half will give his pigs a bucketload if they are not having a dig,can you imagine Sterling Freeman or Mortimer remaining quiet if there pack was getting monstered. You do not win football games by remaining submissive or passive.I would be extremely disappointed with him if he didn't abuse them.

Sundays game against the Titans as this could see us slid further down the ladder and they were okay against the Drungo's all bottom teams are improving ,lets hope they improve, or its spoon bound again I hope I am 100% wrong

Love Benji but the moment he brought that oaf, Heighnington, on to the coaching staff was a massive red flag. The same oaf who all but handed the Roosters the 2010 semi-final because he decided to take his sweet old time in the scrum and I’ll never forgive him for that. That’s the guy helping coach our forwards.

And bringing in Hodgson who did nothing last time he was here and has done nothing since he got the sack last time.

At least Morris has the experience and has demonstrated some success with the Sharks.
