Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Not at all.

Bula was our mistake. We brought Galvin to the club which brought Issac Moses in ....

Bula's manager which we got him went off to be a trainer with the dogs, Galvin and co introduced Issac Moses...

AD gone "hey that guy that screwed our club. I will sign him as manager".

Punt him to the Kerb!
Galvin played for the club probably before he even had a manager. Moses was already at the club with Brooks, Bateman, Klemmer and a few others but carry on.

Probably easier to just say you don’t like Doueihi.

He has a few games he has made some real good yardage. What I am wondering is how fast is he? He came in as meant to being one of the games speedstars. 3 Years later and I just don't ever remember him flying. He made a half break on the weekend and while not in the clear, looked like he was ambling a bit
He, Staines was 100% a speedster at Penrith.

We have to be careful on whom we keep.

Were talking a choice between:
Staines
AD

We can't have both, I would have kept AD 2-3 months ago. Now that he has signed with Issac moses and middle fingered our club... Don't let the door smack you on the arse AD.

Now? Staines can cross the line, but I am really worried about his defense.

We have to be careful on whom we keep. I really don't know if Staines is someone we should be keeping at all.

I think wingers are easier to cover and find. We have a fair few of them. Its ridiculous that this weekend our players 18-22 on the squad are all backs. I think between Staines, Tuituputou, even Luke L, they are all ample, so it comes down to cost efficiency, and then directing money to positions we don't have (forwards). I would assume Staines would want the most, which makes it hard to retain him.

While I think wingers can be covered by many, finding forwards to make good tough carries through the middle is really challenging for us. I am actually shocked an NRL club is in our position. The lack of depth we have forward wise I think is as low as I have ever seen in the competition.

middles are a rare commodity, every club wants more middles

Since joining us I have not seen Stains in the clear…

He's not that fast. He put the ball over the line when he had space.
.backup winger.

How many times do you have to read that he’s not his manager for it to sink in?

This love affair with Bullemor is baffling. He's a bench player for every club he has gone to, and he's not exactly bashing the door down for selection at the Sea Eagles despite losing both Aloia & Paseka for the season.

The much laughed at suggestion of Jack Hetherington....well, the Sea Eagles nearly signed Hetherington for the rest of this season.

Put the Bullemor fantasy in context with the Hetherington reality.

I'd take Tof Sipley over Bullemor for contract value alone.

Hetherington brings a presence on the field. What are you adding Bullemor for compared to what Pole & Sione Fainu already bring? Who in our pack do we look to for outright aggression when we are getting beaten up?

Adding names instead of abilities is probably where the club has gone wrong over the last few years.

I still think Jaiyden Hunt from the Broncos could add some size & power to the squad as one of those 25-30 roster spot guys. Plays pretty much any forward position, so handy off the bench.

Very hard for a player like JPapali to find the passion at a new club in his last year of footy - it rarely works in favour of the club.

Yea, Steve Price and Reuben Wiki at the Warriors??

It depends if they have to be the main man. Our pack has its leaders. We usually buy faded forwards and want them to run the show.

Hmmm not a whole lot there tbh. Davvy Moale I think will be a good player one day. Right coin could be a good option but I don’t think he will change our fortunes for next season.

Out of those we’ll only keep Doueihi I would expect. If he chooses to stay.
Isn’t Sexton going to France?

Staines just seems to lack the raw football ability or perhaps confidence to just pin the ears back. Maybe its a bit similar to Naden at NRL level where they're just too worried about making an error.
