Benji 2025 and Beyond

Its the ruck speed, he's on the front foot which is perfect for him and most halves.

Benji needs to work and work more on the wrestle
Agree on this as it's a massive benefit for halves with more room.

The problem I have sometimes with us is we try to get up and play quicker but ref lets them sit all over us.. Then when we do the same get penalised..

Very frustrating but its not an excuse.

Des is the sexy name on that list …not

Justin Holbrook is a good coach ..a bit hard done by at the Titans I thought …getting them to a finals appearance is a similar miracle required to get the Tigers there …

Chieka might be a good coach , we know he is a fine Union coach, but we need someone with the xs and os knowledge
Dean Young

Yeah, think the cupboard is very bare.

Not sold on anyone on that list really.

A coaching ensemble with some upgrades on what we've got may be more suitable, if we are to persist with Benji.

Benji, head coach.

Sammy Burgess, Johnny Morris & Willie P.
Co - coaches.

Keiran Foran, trainer.
I think if Benji goes sam burgess is a real possibility, was brought to Souths multiple times by richo and they seem to have a good relationship

Seeing Sam Burgess on the SAS TV show really showcased some personal strengths.

No surprise he won the show.
A natural leader really.

He could do a lot, in a coaching role, imo

I wouldn’t bring Sam in to take over as coach, if Benji was to be given the boot I think Brad Arthur gets the job. Or maybe Willie Peters but it’s bare a good coach at the moment.

The game vs the doggies will be a clear indicator of whether my support for Benji as head coach has been justified. For me, the Tigers need to be within 10 points for it to be considered a pass.

We're up against our old mate Galvin, so this match would have been circled on the calender for a while... then there's the ego.. being up against the poster boy of the NRL’s next-gen coaches, Ciraldo...

So it makes me wonder, did he rest Bula and Samuela an extra week against the Panthers.. has he been preparing Royce specifically for this match with the doggies?

If Benji can’t get them up for this game to be competitive, then I think the writing’s on the wall.

i'd be in my right mind thinking we will be dusted against the Dogs, but a few more wins are certain this year n Bunji will keep his job

This is the stupidest post I’ve read in months on here. Probably even longer.
So if Benji can get the team to play one good game…not even win it mind you, but stay within 10 points….then he should be safe. LMFAO.
…and you think he purposefully sacrificed the Penrith game to achieve this?
Come on man…this foolish stuff.

If Benji did think the way of Hold off Bula and Sam F and keep Royce in reserves for this game could be a game changer , but we lost our last game , I’m not a fan of loosing a game to win one or compete in one ,if those guys were ready to play and didn’t it’s a bad thing , I only hope we put a team out this week that can handle the dogs , good luck Benji you need it as your last lot of team selections and positions has been piss poor

So, we are a rabble of a squad, out of form and are about to play the second best side. And if we get done the writing is on the wall for the coach?

Seriously what world do people here live in thinking we are even close to these teams?
Have you watched our games?
Watched anything in the last few months, or years, that leads you to think we should even be within cooee?

Yes, out of the last 7 games, we’ve lost 5.

But 4 of them were against teams in the top 5, including playing the 4 x premiers twice.

It’s like Wolverhampton Wanderers coming up against Liverpool twice, Man City, Arsenal and Newcastle, and their fans expecting miracles - or heads will roll.

This scapegoating, it’s entirely delusional.

it baffles my mind how a million $ can't catch a pass untill their in the origin side ,or its contract renewal year

If they were ready last night id have thought theyd be better for next week with a run under their belts...but this is all pretty fanciful.
No one thats watching our reggies regularly has said royce is killing it and ready for 1sts for the dogs...we may as well name 16 only.
Dogs look like theyre starting their run at the right time to be peaking in a.month or so...CC wont want their form dipping whatsoever
