You're right in that not everyone makes it, but you keep as many as you can as long as you can to maximise your odds. You then need to be good at identifying talent within and without of that group.

The Warren and Tim show just signed them all up to overs too early, on too-high a tier contract (often with guaranteed Top 30) and hence we've found ourselves trying to dig out of it for the last few years.

It is THE reason why depth has been an issue. There's no room for decent replacements because those who have been available in the squad when needed are not even in the conversation about being ready, much less ready to step up and do a job.

Mate when other clubs are coming for them and your the sh!tt club of the comp you have to offer up something for them to stay

I can show you backrowers with more missed tackles that are far better. Go have a look at Hudson Youngs missed tackles. He's in the top 30 in the NRL. Twal barely misses too...origin level you think?

That person got criticised for bringing it up and I was pointing out we do have a much higher percentage of players with Polynesian descent than what the majority of other NRL clubs do,
Whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing is irrelevant, but the numbers and percentage is factual.

Benji is the best coach we've had at the club in 4 years going off wins. One more win he equals the best coach in 5 years.

Before you criticise us, be fair in your assessment. He's at least trying to build something. 1st year with a new squad and you piddle your pants if we're not carving up the top 8.

I'll reserve my judgement after seeing what happens next year. Be patient. You've got unrealistic expectations.

Further to that, Toa was in the Knights system for about 4 years before making his debut, always had the reputation of having tons of ability, but a lazy attitude along with a soft mentality with injuries. I've seen nothing since that changes that.
