I think it’s a fair chance the continual rise of Josese Lanyon could be part of the reason there is a push to see if Charlie Murray can find a better deal, possibly in the UK.

Can we please, please not bring Islamophobia into this? You're presumably talking primarily about Lebanese people, many of whom are not Muslims. Jean-Claude Bitar, referenced in the article, is a Christian. I agree wholeheartedly that the whole thing is a storm in a teacup and a bunch of whingeing by one of the NRL's worst fanbases, but it's nothing to do with Muslims being "protected".

I hate posts like this. There isn’t a fan on this forum who has donated $50k to the club. Why suggest a player who has gone through multiple season ending injuries doing his best for us should?

They all say they want to turn the club around, which is only lip service if they are happy to be paid overs.

Only real prob with AD and I love the guy he's all heart, he just hasn't been able to string a season of consistent football togeather yet. He's had horrendous injuries he's fought back from. He's in a purple patch of form atm, my concern and alot of others concern is he signs the new deal and his form drops off a cliff. He just struggles to find a long patch of real consistent football.

Nobody wants to talk about the first 2-3 years of football he played here. Classic contract year form.

Yeah, based solely on the fact that our players have never done that in any other game, you'd have to think it was purely a retaliation taunt.
