Then you could fully base the club out of there. I’d be surprised if it isn’t on the cards.
You’re gonna need a better one than the one at Concord the club would be dumb to abandon an $80 million COE for an average one. Richo was adamant that they won’t leave that one.Again, I just think it’s great that the club has finally seen the light. It’s one great thing I can say about Richo. Unlike previous CEO’s who talked the talk about the South West, pretty much from day 1, he talked the talk, and when the time came, he walked the walk too. COE too would be nice. Then you could fully base the club out of there. I’d be surprised if it isn’t on the cards.
Against the Titans in pouring rain that’s why it was 8K can’t compare on that one mate. There was a crowd of 8k to a LO game just year.
That’s fine. As long as we’ve committed to really making it our future, that’s enough for me.You’re gonna need a better one than the one at Concord the club would be dumb to abandon an $80 million COE for an average one. Richo was adamant that they won’t leave that one.
I could be wrong but I think the proposed COE that was proposed at Campbelltown has been scrapped for the renovations. That’s fine. As long as we’ve committed to really making it our future, that’s enough for me.
I'm not really comparing our 2 grounds. Just refuting his 'fact' that LO always sells out.Against the Titans in pouring rain that’s why it was 8K can’t compare on that one mate.
10K isn’t that bad of an attendance but yes it’s not a sellout. However I do think you get more atmosphere at LO then you do at CSS. Maybe once the renovations happen that might change, but whatever games Campbelltown host from next year until the renovations start, club has got to win majority of them. Gotta show we can win there moving forward.I'm not really comparing our 2 grounds. Just refuting his 'fact' that LO always sells out.
7k, 10k and 8k crowds there last year. There were small crowds at CSS too. It happens when your bad on the ground and the stadium has poor facilities.
The funding is great news for our club.

You’re right it’s up to the players to win, but fans won’t turn up to a stadium where they know their team struggles to win at. If the club still can’t win at Campbelltown with the new stadium plan, then it has to rely on winning its games at Leichhardt as well as winning on the road. Even if we manage to do that, fans won’t attend the ground knowing there’s a high risk they’ll lose. Some fans reckon we’ll win more playing more there, but LO gets the same amount of games just about for now and our record there is our only home ground that’s got more wins than losses.Winning comes down to the players right ? The fact they have won like 2 of their last 15 games at Cambo is one of those mind boggling , frustrating things about the team…just like they haven’t won three in a row for 7 years and seem to crap the bed every time they have some “event “ game
Yeah, its not a great ground for atmosphere but I've been there plenty of times when it's pumping. 2 new stands at either end will help with that, keeping the noise in and bouncing it back to the players.10K isn’t that bad of an attendance but yes it’s not a sellout. They did last year, they sold out the ground 3 times. It’s becoming tiresome the myth the ground can’t draw a crowd. You’d think it only draws 4 and 5k the way some carry on.You’re right it’s up to the players to win, but fans won’t turn up to a stadium where they know their team struggles to win at. Yes we need to win more everywhere, but if we’re committing to more games at Campbelltown, it has to win there more than anything else. We simply can’t make finals by trying to win our Leichhardt games and winning more games on the road.Yeah, its not a great ground for atmosphere but I've been there plenty of times when it's pumping. 2 new stands at either end will help with that, keeping the noise in and bouncing it back to the players.
We just need to win more, everywhere!
It’s about winning at the stadium more than the fans attending itself. 100 games since the merge and we’ve only won 39 of them. It’s not gonna exactly be a good look for the club if we only win 1 or 2 games out of 7 or 8 or even worse no wins at all like we did this year. Our last 15 games there we’ve only won 2. If we don’t start winning there, there will be fans that won’t go simply because they know their team can’t win. That has to change. They did last year, they sold out the ground 3 times. It’s becoming tiresome the myth the ground can’t draw a crowd. You’d think it only draws 4 and 5k the way some carry on.
I just don't think that's a ground issue. It's a player issue IMO.Yes we need to win more everywhere, but if we’re committing to more games at Campbelltown, it has to win there more than anything else. I think I read something here about this maybe from @cochiseI could be wrong but I think the proposed COE that was proposed at Campbelltown has been scrapped for the renovations.
