You need an element of luck to beat a side in great form at home going for the minor premiership for the first time in whatever - we did well to stay in it.

I said before the last Raiders game that not much separates these teams and I stand up that assessment. Whereas a team like the Roosters are an order of magnitude better than us, the Raiders play to 100% of their ability every week and have benefited from a healthy dose of favourable officiating and luck. It would be poetic justice for them to lose the GF due to an arsey bounce/ref howler.

We played the team who won the minor premiership and were screwed over multiple times and on the back end of a combined 16-7 penalty count (including 6 agains).. pole also dropped the ball over the line ..

So if you are right, then the whole comp must be sh1t.. because raiders are minor premiers... if we are that bad and they only beat us by 14 with all those legs up - how poor mist the competition be?

He's half right. We played tough and committed, but the attack needs a lot of work. How many repeat sets did we get? One? Last play options are non-existent. That's a very good backline we have there, we just need to learn to use it properly.

1. The refs don’t like us.
2. Dumb mistakes…. usually by the same culprits.

1. no constructive kicking game
2. poor tackling. poor reads in defence.
3.lack of options in the final attacking area.

We need to hire a tackling coach, kicking coach, strength coach.

I thought the line speed in the first half was the best I've seen from the Tigers in a long time. Second half 5th tackle options were terrible. (When you are running with a decent wind, what's wrong with kicking to corners and making them bring the ball out from their line)? Anyway, I am quite satisfied with the performance today. It was a great effort. Poor discipline in a few areas and poor completion rate but they played tough. We really need to win next week though.

Tackling - we missed less tackles then the minor premiers with only 45% possession

Our defence was brilliant

We had basically nothing to play for, our opponents were top of the tree on their sell out home turf, on a freezing cold day, with a ref who just graduated from under eights and with a tad of luck could have stole the lollies.

There is plenty to take out of what this club has done in the last month or so and today was a great effort across the park. Raiders looked like a team that has
peaked six weeks early, but the old saying,you can only play as well as your allowed to.

This team will be taking plenty of momentum into the off season

That disruptor penalty bula gave away is one of his biggest weaknesses. He doesn't have that extra bit of strength or confidence to go on with things in games. A lot of 1%ers he doesn't have in his game

That is not a disrupter he watched the ball all the way, could have touched it but new he’d knock it on do pulled back. Shite call, let’s see if they rule another one like that again!!!
