CONFIRMED: Carter Gordon is officially back in rugby union after Rugby Australia agreed to terms with the Gold Coast Titans to secure his early release.

And he's set to jump straight into the Wallabies' Spring Tour squad!

Apparently it's Jack Bird's wedding today so unlikely he would be out the night before the wedding & given the circumstances.

Bud... Technically gone.

The next things we need are re-signing of Sione & maybe Skelton.

Luai & Bula sorted it out.

Bird traded for Brown.

Sign 1 more outside back to the Top 30. Which would make 29. Or if we have Tui'tupou & Mapapalangi on FT T&T deals we are okay IMO.

Let's us know officially who the 6 development players are for 2026 given 7 are reported to have deals.

Leaving that 1/2 spot/s if something happens in the market.

I spoke to Adam he was in good spirits. He reckons he’ll be 100% by the start of pre-season so shouldn’t expect any delays, looked healthy and happy too throughout the night.

Regarding who wasn’t in attendance - don’t think Turuva was there as well as Skelton. Whilst the more obvious ones like Bird, Naden, Bud I also didn’t see.

Also just a side note: Haemasi Makasini is an absolute unit in real life. Towers over you at the age of 18 already, I think we’ve got something really special brewing there.

Did ya hit Doobs up about what posi he is training at over the offseason?
And my other question is about Richo, and Benji and the coaching staff. How did they interact with each other and the players. I’m guessing Richo probably has an air of confidence and garners respect of the back of his past experience etc. Does Benji and the rest of the coaching staff, and how do the players respond to them?
Again thanks for sharing some insight to a night I’ve always wanted to attend. I will have to do it after our 2027 GF win.

Surely we wldnt have bought Madden if we hadnt sorted Bud??
Numbers last published suggested Bud was prepared to take a 100k cut from $550 to 450k for next 2 years ,but Bennett wanted to only pay him only 250k pa!!
Wld leave Wts with a 2yr x200k burden..from a bloke that desperate wants out,,,

Makasini is a giant at 18. He would be the tallest and widest shoulder wise in the club already - if not very close to it. He is an absolute beast. If we can keep the KGs off and hold his speed a few full pre seasons the kid is going to be a clear beast.

He's an exciting player and I look forward to watching him play for the WTs. I write that because with the competition for players with two extra teams plus the demand from existing clubs, we are going to need to be at our best. With Richardson and Marshall in charge, we are very competitive with player recruitment and retention.
