I'm officially happy for him.Souths have officially signed Bud for the next 2 years
Wayne is losing the plotI'm officially happy for him.
I don't believe it did. I understand the argument, we were 3 from 6 when Galvin hit the news, which was obviously better than the seasons winning percentage.wrong thread , but did galvin gate really derail our year,
Is that on the coach ,or mental weakness of the club
mental weakness , on the new age ,their professionals
keep it simple stupid ,
perform like the professionals you are
BELIEVE - Cheech n Chong - you can do-it

Yes. He would be a starting front rower for us. He is (or more I believe he will become) an A runner that we do not have.Sam Hughes anyone? apparently free to leave the Dogs if he gets a good deal.
Leo ThompsonI wonder who they have coming to replace him.
Agreed.Thats a great post, hes a great kid who was happy to play for either club without fuss. He had built some good relationship with some of the players at our club that he still has a lot to do with them off the field. i personally without being biased believed he has plenty of improvement in his game and should of been kept by club (he would of accepted a lesser contract), prefer him to Madden considering his age,
I can’t say I know much of him, but we need an NRL run on 10, and a back up prop. Can he be be of those?Sam Hughes type signings have paid off for us in the past.
I could see him going to Melb and being a no nonsense worker though and doing well.
If we could, we should.
The point is Bula himself can activate his own contract extension at 800k which is extremely good money for a player of his ability.I assume that both want a longer deal first and foremost.
I also think the fact we haven’t activated the $900k shows more of the direction we want to head than that of Bula for the future.
Yeah I think he’s similar level to Bunty, and Bunty is probably more the archetype prop that we’re missing and he’s probably not in our best 17.I can’t say I know much of him, but we need an NRL run on 10, and a back up prop. Can he be be of those?
Although we just got bunty

Thanks mate, yeah he might not have been a world beater but he has shown what he lacks in talent he more than makes up for with his character. He would have been a great guy and role model around the younger players and someone with an attitude that would have helped build the culture were after immensely. Sad he's gone. He was just the victim of a great contract for him. Good on him I wish him nothing but success wherever he goes and in whatever he does. Seems to be a really genuine humble top bloke. My question is I'm pretty sure Bud was a Benji signing. Benji will want to learn from that pretty quick. Only let him see 1 season and shipped him off. If there wasn't another taker that's 500k or there about around our necks for another 2 years for a player Benji wanted then tossed away I'm assuming for Galvin.Thats a great post, hes a great kid who was happy to play for either club without fuss. 99% of the forum appreciate the info. No matter how big or small. Things esp in contracts in the N.R.L change all the time. Something might be true on Tuesday that turns out to be wrong on Thursday cause the player decided at the last minute to sign elsewhere. All the while on Tuesday giving the other club their word they're signing. Both things can be true.I work very closely within the sports industry and made some friends along the way I guess you can say.
Regarding Bula, I heard it from people close around the situation that told me Bula loves the club and wants to remain here for life and the club feel the same way. Hence why I’m a bit perplexed by the recent news that has come out.
I don’t get mail or info much at all tbh, it’s very rare I hear anything Wests Tigers related but when I do I try post what I can. The forum members who have been on here for a while can probs back me when I say it’s usually decent and most times accurate. Wouldn’t say 100% accurate though that’s for sure
Sounds like us.He's a toiler.
Doesn't seem like he minds the dirty stuff.
Would be a good pick up for any club needing a bit of a worker prop.
x2.Do the cowboys still want Jason Taulmalolo?
I think going into 2026 the WT will have their best squad in 10 years
At the right price. Watched him closely in the back half of the year and didn't really impress me but as you say he probably didn't suit Ciraldo's style.24yrs, 193cm, 113kg prop. 24 NRL games 2024, 10 games 2025
Sounds OK to me.
Probably doesn't suit Ciraldo's smaller mobile pack. That fades at the end of the season, or was that, Lachie?
