Yeah I was thinking about getting one but not with a big W for Westpac Waynekerr in the middle of it. Or a new Tigers one, but our ones have that bloody giant pepper ad on it. Then the other night I’m in a zoom meeting with some Victorians that I’m chipping about their fairies ball and one chips back with I see your blues shirt has VB logos all over it bcoz ya beer is shite. I had a look at my other old blues jersey and it’s got a giant white wizard home loans on it. Ya can’t wear a jersey without feeling like an unpaid billboard.
I reckon our next sponsor should be the mob that puts those “Post No Bills” signs up.

I see the Saffers 10 and 11 put on 30 an 70 and a 98 run partnership to get them a 70 run lead. Marahaj got 7 wickets to go with his 30.
Asif (love that name, as if mate), Asif Afridi got 6 wickets for the Pakis. That’s 13 wickets for the left arm orthodox spinners in the first 2 innings. As if.

Also Zampa is a crap fielder
Hazo so unlucky doesn't get an LBW because of a mystery in side edge

Well now India from 2-17 to 2-130
Reason is other bowlers Owen , Short and even Zampa bowling crap
You can't pick a few BBL part timers and have them play ODI cricket
Owen with 120 kph half trackers got belted for 17 of 1 over
Zampa looks innocuous, Short slow rubbish
Marsh brings back Starc and gets Rohit for 73
Problem is Starc ,Hazo and Bartlett can do 30 overs so other 20 overs a problem India 30 overs 3-137

We got right back on top when Zampa picked up a few wickets late and
India were 8-226 with only the tail in but tail wagged
No's 9 and 10 took 16 off Zampas last over
What was disappointing was our average performance in the field
When we won the World Cup we were diving all over the place making desperate saves of numerous boundaries but today .No diving players slowly ambling across cutting off very little .Starc pulled one of the Maxwell type catches on the boundary but not many fielding highlights

We need to chase down 265 with a very inexperienced middle order
Short ,Owen , Connolly ,Renshaw
Not many ODI's between this lot ( about 2 each )
Seems we expect Marsh and Head to do it by themselves ?
Cant believe with this lack of experience we are serious
Labuschagne on the bench
Smith lives in New York how's he preparing for this summer
Seems a scratchy prep for the Ashes

Jack Edwards has been called into Australia's ODI squad for tomorrow's clash with India at the SCG!

Additionally, Ben Dwarshuis will make his return to the T20 squad alongisde Josh Philippe.

Josh Hazlewood and Sean Abbott will depart mid-series to prepare for round four of Sheffield Shield.

It's a shame one-dayers are getting swallowed up. That was a more skillful and entertaining game than the majority of Twenty20s.
