Yeah I was thinking about getting one but not with a big W for Westpac Waynekerr in the middle of it. Or a new Tigers one, but our ones have that bloody giant pepper ad on it. Then the other night Iām in a zoom meeting with some Victorians that Iām chipping about their fairies ball and one chips back with I see your blues shirt has VB logos all over it bcoz ya beer is shite. I had a look at my other old blues jersey and itās got a giant white wizard home loans on it. Ya canāt wear a jersey without feeling like an unpaid billboard.
I reckon our next sponsor should be the mob that puts those āPost No Billsā signs up.

Back to serious cricket biz.
I see the Saffers 10 and 11 put on 30 an 70 and a 98 run partnership to get them a 70 run lead. Marahaj got 7 wickets to go with his 30.
Asif (love that name, as if mate), Asif Afridi got 6 wickets for the Pakis. Thatās 13 wickets for the left arm orthodox spinners in the first 2 innings. As if.

Reason is other bowlers Owen , Short and even Zampa bowling crap
You can't pick a few BBL part timers and have them play ODI cricket
Owen with 120 kph half trackers got belted for 17 of 1 over
Zampa looks innocuous, Short slow rubbish
Marsh brings back Starc and gets Rohit for 73
Problem is Starc ,Hazo and Bartlett can do 30 overs so other 20 overs a problem India 30 overs 3-137
Reason is other bowlers Owen , Short and even Zampa bowling crap

What was disappointing was our average performance in the field
When we won the World Cup we were diving all over the place making desperate saves of numerous boundaries but today .No diving players slowly ambling across cutting off very little .Starc pulled one of the Maxwell type catches on the boundary but not many fielding highlights
We need to chase down 265 with a very inexperienced middle order
Short ,Owen , Connolly ,Renshaw
Not many ODI's between this lot ( about 2 each )
Seems we expect Marsh and Head to do it by themselves ?
