FORMAZIONE AZZURRI!

Italy has announced their strong lineup to face the Wallabies in Udine.
Juan Ignacio Brex (C) steps up to captain the side from outside centre.
The key to their attack? Electric full-back Ange Capuozzo, who has been hugely impressive in the Top 14 this season.
With speedsters like him and Tommaso Menoncello, this team is built to attack.
Can they deliver a historic victory against Australia?
Forza Azzurri!

Where oh where have our Wallabies gone,
Losses v All Blacks and Poms, understandable, but by no means acceptable.
Poor effort to squeak home v Japan who came within a bees xxxx of beating us and now this debacle v Italy.
What happened to the improved form earlier this year- out the door.
Just no decent cattle !
Very disappointing for me, I’ve asked my wife to remove the leather patches off my Harris Tweed sports coat,so I’m not targeted in the street .

Australian rugby is cooked, that loss to Italy was woeful.

I’m a big Woodies fan, grew up in Glebe, then Eastwood. If R360 are going to raid our stocks, we should be doing the same and targeting GPS and Shute Shield players. Suaalii came through the Woods junior system, and there’s plenty more talent just like him in those programs.

union lost the plot 25 years ago ,when they made a cash grab saturating the domestic market with a barrage of internationals at the expense of the grass roots product, and dug themselves deeper wasting world cup money and trying to strong arm State affiliations into propping them up with their hard earned. Bang - shot em selves in the foot again

Yep, agreed, but union will always be seen as a white‑collar sport, backed by the old boys with money, league will always be a blue‑collar game for the working fan, so the dollars don’t translate.

Even Suaalii’s contract, $5.3 million for three years, with a two‑year option taking the value beyond $8 million over five years, works out to about $1.6 million per year.

Consider the chatter of Payne Haas getting up to $3 million per year with R360, that sort of money makes you think twice, we can’t compete with that unless the NRL keeps on growing quickly.

Union is on life support in this country and the Priest Vicar Rabbi and Iman have all been called to argue over who gets to send the body on it's last voyage.
Meanwhile Rugby Australia are trying to organise a test match against Antarctica so they may perhaps win a game against the penguins in the near future.

Just sad champion @Halbrowne61 and others,

FULL-TIME: ITALY 26 - 19 AUSTRALIA

The Azzurri storm back from behind to beat the Wallabies!
A historic, well-deserved victory for Italy.
Italy beat the wallabies.
And beat them well.
Came from behind and went away!
What a result.
What a result for the Italians (and Lynagh!)
But seriously, how sad is our national team?

union is run on the fifa mafia model , all proceeds head north , If its Sheiks just exercising some weird hobby , i dont see it kicking off ,
The only way it would brake even is with to many rich waste money, for it to grab hold, they get board quick
Average Joe wont prop it up with view per pay
Goes against the grain in sport to support a team of mercenaries
Somewhere between Nrl ,Juventus spends per team, ba hum bug
