I see Ben Stokes as the key to the whole series. If he performs, I think England go a long way towards winning. One of the greatest competitors in any sport in the world atm. And the best allrounder the game has seen since Kallis. He’ll make or break the series imo.

It’d better bounce, once they’ve won at the Wacca and that was when tv was black and white.
I hate losing tests, especially getting flogged, it’s like a 3 day torture session.

He is for them.
But not as much as the last ashes, they have blokes still there from their last moral victory that have matured in their game while Stokes has had some injuries. No one in the team ever claimed they were morally superior to the Aussie team, which is misinformation that’s been passed off as fact.
