As the comment comes from an unnamed source you couldn’t give it any credibility at this stage. It’s possible it is but I personally doubt it. That’s the reason I said “allegedly”. Time might give us the real answer.

I was trying to think what motive WTs would have in saying that if it werent true

Grudge against who? When we are struggling next year, people will be singing my tune. Taking the punches in the off season is nothing for me. I just ride the wave.

I knew about it , but the way it was explained to me it was for huge decisions . Like where the tigers will be playing , major sponsors , replacement of key figures in the club like ceo , coach , gm ……not the colour of the jerseys

Nothing explicit; however, a subordinate board usually has guidelines set and has to act within them. If the senior board has concerns they usually have the power of veto. It is seldom used as it is a way to force conversations to be had before final decsions are made.

I can't say I've seen it written anywhere though.

That’s your opinion. FTR, I didn’t go out of my way to say Benji should be sacked. Someone suggested that might happen, and I said it wouldn’t be the worse thing to happen. God forbid.

Why would they. The club has gone backwards in one afternoon . The most important implementation of the review was the independent board… and now we return to the laughing stock of the nrl …just as we were thinking about handing that position over to someone else .

Nope. Someone said Benji might be sacked. I said that wouldn’t be the worst thing. That’s all. You painting it like I in came and shat on Benji unprompted is disingenuous.
 
Does anyone not like the New Jerseys ? I think they’re both mad . I also think we should have a full black jersey , like the broncos got . With mild white lines . That would be awesome as well. Completely away from both the traditional Balmain and wests
