Breaking news: HBG takeover

what can PVL really do apart from tell HBG you are in the nrl as Wests Tigers that is it end of story.
That might be what he means when he is saying protecting the wests tigers fans.
Depends what the conditions of an NRL license are and if the NRL believe there may have been a breach.

Highly unlikely the NRL would revoke the license unless HBG were bankrupt, broke the law or signifcantly tarnished the image of the game, however they could put certain conditions to them to comply to the license agreement if found in breach.

But is changing your board bringing the game into disrepute?
Did fans forcing the previous changes bring the game into disrepute?
What constitutes disrepute?
We as fans need a change but Ezra Mann has brought more disrepute to the game into the last couple of years than Denny and his cronies
You could possibly argue HBG not acting in the best interests of the NRLs franchise ...dismissing succesful and.competent, proven board members for trivial matters.
Dunno how far it would go but this circus has gone on far too long

Why or on what grounds would the NRL step in?
We are solvent and will meet all requirements of playing the season.
The HBG has done nothing illegal.
They own the club and have every right to appoint/replace board members.
Let's be honest, someone has to come last so us being poor is not really a problem for them.
The NRL aren't happy with the tigers coming last... Believe it or not they would prefer a thriving western Sydney with parra, penrith, doggies and tigers all playing finals.

Wow!

Richo to go. Benji will go. We will struggle to field a team.

Joke of a club.
Yeah a bit dramatic they aren't just going to up and leave all the boys hanging...

If anything it might actually rally those already signed together..

The issue is the resigning of players like Bula.. now that become a serious concern imo
