I feel like that’s emotion talking. Happy to be proven wrong, but how would what happens at board level affect players? If Richo resigned/got punted, maybe, but a few faceless board members? Do you reckon the players would know the names of any of them?

If a quality player has similar offers with multiple clubs around the same place as the tigers on the ladder, you really think they are picking the rabble that can't stay out of the news for all the wrong reasons.

Do you really think player managers are lining up to send their clients to a club that constantly asses it's board for absolutely no reason.

Players at the rosters, storm, Broncos and possibly Penrith would 100% know the board members. They mentor the players and set many of them up for life after footy.

Thinking this shit show has no impact on our branding, reputation and ability to recruit then you really are living with Peter Pan in never never land!

exactly. And it’s the same in other organizations like hospitals, schools, unis. Reputation makes a huge difference.

It’s why JL has a “get out of this rabble” clause every year, and apparently Richo was trying to get him to commit for the next two seasons, what’s the chance of that happening now?
