Some people really don't understand the gravity of the situation here.
Burgess has declared war on Wests Tigers. There are two ways this can turn out.
1. Burgess and HBG win. Richos resigns, Benji leaves, half our playing squad leave and the club itself is an absolute shambles. Denny takes this opportunity to rebrand to the Wests Magpies.
2. The members, fans and media protest is loud enough to get the NRL's attention and they step in and place the club under administration, stopping HBG from cannibalizing it's own club. Then hopefully Denny is removed and hopefully HBG can be forced to sell their license.
Whether the joint venture remains or not is irrelevant. No one cares about they stuff anymore. We are the Tigers and Wests, from Leichhardt and Crown. That won't change, all that will change is who pays the bills and how much they chip in. It sure didn't hurt the Dogs.
The protest happening next Saturday's is absolutely huge in the context of the future of our club. It almost depends upon it.
I know for a fact that Richo isn't leaving just yet, but his fate is in our hands, and that of the NRL. We must act, in huge numbers. The time is now.
