Thought it was a bit divisive though, alot of Balmain paraphernalia and was disappointed Barnier who led the review spoke and noticed former sacked board members there so one wonders what their agendas were. Would've preferred just regular fans.

Its a problem mate. I dont disagree. If you look at the directors rant earlier about the rally, shows their opinion of members and a dire lack of professionism. Honestly, he should have some reg body all over that.

The question is, how can we solve it. What will work. Im hoping that the nrl, nsw l&g or asic are there, but if not, its going to be people power. In that scenario, there needs to be a middle ground that meets their needs (i.e. magpies recognition), but gets them away from running the club and having that majority on WT board

I dont think mandates on the cup team or a black and white jersey is an issue.

What we can't accept is them back with a majority in WT and sending us back to failure.

They cannot lose, the pokie machines are programmed to give 85% of revenue back to the club... E.g. for every $1million cash that goes through a machine, they pocket $850k... Not a single soul on this forum could stuff that up...

On the same note, the 4 independent directors are all successful business people and none of their revenue was from poker machines..

I know who I would prefer running a business of mine.

95% of opinions on this forum aren’t wide of the mark. Otherwise we wouldn’t keep coming back.

I suggest it's more like 99% and it's been that way, as I have said before, for at least the last 5 years.

Anyone that has made an appearance on here within that time and I'm sure even longer and said anything positive about the MAGPIES is quickly set upon by a mob and mostly abused for their thoughts.

The MAGPIES more so than HBG have been the target on here.
