If you don't do that, you get bombarded with so much 💩 from the olde Balmain followers and now anti HBG followers as well, it's just not worth staying on here to be constantly abused.

There are plenty of old Magpies fans that want the back of the HBG, 2 of them spoke at the rally on Saturday and there are a heap on here so stop lying.

C'mon lad, that really is reaching.
Using the word lying is a bit harsh. I'm sure he believes what he's posted.

It's pretty irrefutable that many old Magpies have disengaged due to forum sanctioned abuse.
 
I'm a keen observer.

I've noticed that even today, on several threads, many on here believe that the worst insult they can hurl is to accuse someone of being a Magpie.

Most people don't give them (or Balmain Tigers for that matter) a second thought and are just fans of Wests Tigers - You know, the club we've been supporting for 25 years.

It's not necessary to leave the past behind to be a Wests Tigers supporter.
I must have said this a1,000 times on here~~~I started following Wests Tigers in 2000 and have been a follower all the way through.

But But But But~I have a 2nd team that I follow~~Wests Magpies.
I don't follow them as closely as I do Wests Tigers, but I do take an interest in them as they were my team from 1963 to 2000, and I guess I am very protective of them~~just as a loving parent protects their children. And I am entitled to do that while still following Wests Tigers.

I guess my support of the MAGPIES may not have been as strong if I had not got the extent of pushback I did from Cochise and others, particularly in my early days of being on here, but particularly
Cochise.

If and when I feel The MAGPIES are being harshly or unfairly treated, I will speak up for them.
AND I AM ENTITLED TO DO THAT even if I am vilified.

Their is a Magpie hatred here .From a Magpie supporter (me) .Some just love to drive a division into the merger and it 99% here comes from Magpie supporters ,yet their numbers are about 8.

Long bow to draw. I'm sure you're familiar with the term situational awareness. The current unrest is a result of a magpies centric agenda coming from factions within the HBG. Part of the discussion on here is to determine what people prioritise; the Wests tigers or the Wests magpies. If your offended because someone called you a magpie supporter, you probably need to get out more.. fyi I have no issue with people being loyal to the old magpies, I respect it, but when they become priority over the joint venture Wests tigers, then it becomes a problem - it isn't as deep seeded as some seem to make it out to be (not for me anyway).
 
I love magpies though.
