You’re also ignoring the fact that Manly, Penrith, and Parra are first grade sides that have abandoned a similar model and have reinstated State Cup sides that mirror the rest of their pathways and FG names.

And not forgetting in 2026 Melbourne Storm will also field a cup side, they will be represented throughout all NSWRL grades except the NSW Womens competition.

I can't remember what year it was but it was a while ago before Brookes left there was a mostly black with orange/gold what ever the F colour it was on the front that I liked.

I think there is consensus here that what HBG did was poorly managed and completely wrong. If richo did something bad, or flirted with the line, at best he didnt recieve the bare minimum of the discussions or board escalations that should have happened.

So, richo has suffered because of this, as well as the independant directors, who all were a real asset for the club.

Now the question becomes, how is HBG held accountable for that neglect of duty? The members directors can be voted out, but the debenture holders....

It all comes back to our lack of accountability structures in ownership.

What is your aim in posting on here? Everyone who comes on here and posts has a reason to do so, most are supportive fans who want to see change in the club. I just don't get where you are coming from with your posts, especially when you post the response you did that I have replied to.

I cannot figure it out, you claim to be making a point and arguing your side, but at the same point you discredit facts that have valid evidence behind it, you try to take down people who post, who are well respected members of the board, and then you make posts like the above that have no sensicle points.

Is it to genuinely put forward your side?
Is it to troll everyone for your own enjoyment?
Do you not have anything else you can do but visit this board?
Are you connected to someone in HBG and are just trying to destabilize fans voices?
Or something else?

I don't want an argument with you, nor some level of your usual response when people call you out. What would be nice is a genuine, open, detailed and reasoned response. One that all of us on here might be able to get an understanding of you and why you continue to post like you do.

Don't think you'd hear any of us complain about an awesome black jersey. That doesn't mean we can't also have an orange jersey.. there's only one side complaining about the colour or the jersey.

It's disgusting how the suggestion Richo has done something wrong gets legs over time as people continue to repeat it.

We deserve more respect as a club.
Surely they could have planned to take out each independent director one by one. Maybe set up some fighting/false rivalry between OFarrell and one of the other independents.. have a bag of strange substance turn up in a briefcase or chatgpt one of the directors in an Easts Jersey!

Honestly, as fans we deserve far better scheming then this. Have Barry being photographed with Margo Robbie in a compromising position... OK maybe Gladys B would be more appropiate. Have Richo investigated by cronies who draw a predetermined conclusion about corruption. Heck watch a few episodes of Breaking bad or Game of Thrones and copy those plots....
