Rugby league history

A bit of trivia:

(1) I know Mrs Hansen-McLean, a lady who married one of the Wests Magpies premiership 2nd rowers, only for him to sadly pass away early on; after which, the lady kept going to the Wests Magpies socials (as it was always rich in club camaraderie), and (wait for it) she then ended up marrying the other 2nd rower when his marriage ended !
(2) The grandson of the marriage to Mr Hansen is the Aussie who plays for Ireland's national rugby team after the Australian Wallaby selectors failed to give him a chance in Oz (the old-school favorites is NOT fair).

I can't ever remember a lady marrying BOTH 2nd rowers of a premiership team - and she's a gem of a woman too.

What an extraordinary coincidence. That kinda symbolises how rich in club camaraderie the club was back then and still is. At least off the field.
