One of the greatest rivalries in tennis was between Martina Navratilova and Chris Evert.

They played against each other in 80 matches,60 of those were finals between 1973-1988.
They had contrasting styles Chris had the baseline shots, while Martina had the strong serve and volley shots.
Early on Chris dominated the matches but in the 80s Martina turned the tide and in the end was more victorious over her arch rival head to head Martina was 43 to Chris 37.
