Players should be aiming to play well and influence the result of the game in their teams favour.
If they do that they generally collect Dally M points along the way.

I know a bloke who had the WT Swans double, a bit later than the best odds but I think it was like 150/1. If he'd gotten on earlier probably could have got 1000.

Madden was injured for a large portion of 2025.
Aside from that he was stuck behind some quality halves at the Broncos.

You keep saying it so often, I don’t know weather it’s us or yourself that you’re trying to convince?
Losing Galvin make them forget how to tackle in a 64 point drubbing from the runners up?
With (a happy) Galvin they couldn’t tie their shoelaces against a hapless knights in rd 1.
There’s plenty of other indicators of this team 1-17 underperforming last year.

Blokes who’ve won 4 comps,
don’t lose a season because of a 19yr old.

Panthers went close to winning it without Cleary for most of the season!!

Blaming Galvin is a cop out
- coach should be ashamed of himself for saying it, and so should anyone else.

Sorry but he did cause a massive upheaval with his shite exit. Especially after bunji backing him so much. To say it’s a cop out is a bit rich, it was over all the media for what 6/8 weeks, plus we lost a half that had trained all off season.

Bula and Attard in front of him at fullback...not sure he had any better chances in other positions.

We also had Chris Lawrence and Nofo before he went off.
I thought Kev actually played pretty good for a long time.

Yep Craig would be very very lucky to get a flegg contract. Somehow got an NRL contract. It's embarrassing.
Hopefully he gets offloaded asap. Just not up to it

But no one would describe Heath as a "gun".

It is a little sad to see the Laulili's go but with so many families here.. How many brothers do we want on our team?

Look the family strategy will work, but if our team is built on more families all it takes is an argument between the May's and Fainu's and were in trouble.

Can we just say that Madden was a "decent" buy at 350k?

Not going to pass verdict till were at least 10 rounds in.
