Yep . He’s finally found his shoulders… and lo and behold everyone gets behind him . You can’t be that massive and that bad at defence . People won’t cop it . Your Bryce Cartwrights of the world end up being absolutely hated .
I always thought he was too slow for the halves , but that sprints coach in 24 offseason really got speed in those legs . Whilst I ultimately think lock will be where he finishes his career , if this is the new normal re. AD in defence especially , I have zero issues with him in the halves .

I agree, there was some insistence that the Fainus from Manly were paid the same back in 23, so it may be a case of saving $100k to lose something else.
Interesting.
Lomax seems all but a done deal to Storm, although Parra is playing hard ball.
Both handy players but I don't think we'd get either, no matter the interest.

No interest in Lomax. Doesn’t matter how good he is, the moment he gets his nose out of joint, or 360 gets off the ground, he’ll be gone. Not the first player to ever be out for himself no matter what. But there aren’t many that have been that way as blatantly.

Hope not. Lomax seems like he'd be a bit of a culture killer for our group considering how tight they appear.
His me me bullshit aside, from a football perspective he reminds me a bit of Gagai. Pulls on an origin jersey and plays like a world-beater. Pulls on a club jersey and goes down a peg or two.

I’ve always been a fan of Zac Lomax playing ability and I think you would see him be happy and play his best club football as a permanent right centre.
I would love to see him playing for Wests Tigers and he has openly advised he was a Wests Tigers and Benji Marshall fan growing up,
In saying this I cannot see it happening as the contract value he would be looking for would be outside our budget for a right centre and the condition of the Eels releasing him would remain the same, they would want a high quality player in return.
We cannot afford to give any rival club any of our best players, so it simply would not work for us.

If he has any sense, he will put his brain first and not footy, highly doubtful he will play this season and may not be ever, such a shame a good player.
