Nostalgia

The history of the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) and its rule changes over the years is interesting and quite funny.

In the 2003/04 season, they removed pre-season games from scoring. I never knew they were once included. It would be amazing to own some random super diff from the U19 bagging a hat-trick against a local team in a charity match.

In the 2004/05 season, they removed the 2-5-3 and 5-5-0 formations. I would have loved a 5-5-0 this season.

In the 2005/06 season, they reduced midfielder clean sheet points from 2 to 1. Players would have been overpowered with two points for CS and Defcon this season.

The picture is from the 2002-2003 season. The game has come a long way.
