“Let’s ruin an awesome sport and start adding heaps of new rules every season that so that the players slowly become robots.” - Some dick head that’s never played a single second of rugby league having a say in how the game’s run. Get these losers out asap

Eric isn't wrong.

We have 4 players per team who are allowed to play rugby league called the spine plus 13 interchangeable robots.

No one disagrees there a lot to like about the kid, or that he could transition to fullback and make a real fist of it.

There is no where near the sample size to make anywhere near the amount of calls he’s making about him.

Despite his lack of first grade experience In The position (and the NRL at all)
When has giving a kid a million dollars a year ever worked out? That creates a whole heap of problems that kids aren’t built to handle in itself.
Throw a potential move to Sydney on top of that - he could spend his formative years making good money off radar in Townsville (close to home) with 1/3 of the mortgage he’d have to have (limiting any dollar difference he might get) and get some real miles in him.

He’s been around a couple years in a couple different spots already and he’s no where near close to the best player in the game any of them. Now he’s going to be the best player in a position he’s never played, Please!

I’d be looking maybe at an AJ Brimson - Tough, clever, good talker, all effort…
He’d make a real difference to what where trying to do.

And - I’d be trying to move Bula now!
He’s not worth what he’s getting now, upgrading him would be suicide…
And if he’s just using us to up his value elsewhere - sell him now, when we can get something for him.
You can't "sell him now, when we can get something for him." - he has a contract. If he goes I won't lamenting his leaving as he gives us nothing more than a serviceable fullback (when he wants to be) whose value isn't $900K.

Like we didn't sell Jack Bird?
(Who's contract finished at the same Time Bulas did)

If the Dogs or Dragons are likely, Let them take him now and get a decent trade or at worst some cap space for him

If you read the press release Jack Bird was released from the final year of his contact by mutual agreement - he was not "sold" as the club received no funds for his everrtual signature with the Super League club.

The best you get a a bit of cap space to use

We didn't sell Lachlan Galvins contract last year?
- There's not talk around the game atm of us buying Adam O'Briens?
The Storm weren't looking to pay a motza for Lomaxs'?
You've got nothing but a flat argument for the sake of it.

We got paid to let Benji play for the Dragons in 2014.

You might not like the way I worded it,
But when someone owns the contract - And someone wants it,
It's selling
(Or Trading - If that helps remove the bee from your bonnet?)
