Impressive start from the kid, competing on high balls is something I have wanted for ages. Has something about him & hits hard in defense as well. Considering his first 2 main touches and to rebound how he did.
He looks a bit like Deine Mariner.
Great debut.
Looks like a worker.
Like to see some more of him in FG.

I was reminded of thenlast few years when we'd bomb and watch...how good is it to compete for these

You can see why so many like him. I dont think he had a fantastic debut like others do, but I saw enough to back those who have seen more of him when they say he is just a footballer. Once his confidence grows he will be good. A little Lehi Hopoate like

Effort and enthusiasm. Got belted a few times, made 10 metres a few others.
Dropped some and also forces RTS to drop some. You can't ask a lot more, once the error is made you can't change it but.you can impact the next moment if you keep going hard. He and Makasini both showed this.

Shout out to this young man. He had a tough start to the game, kept his head in the game and played a hand in match-turning moments for us. Great debut.

Is Benji unhappy with Skelton? Luke in round 1 and Tino this week in front of him were both surprising selections.

Wonderful debut!
Nice try taking a high pass from AD at full speed, 2 vital contested bombs in attack leading to tries, defused a couple of other tough kicks & put good contact on Leka Halasima when jamming in on him in defence.
Doesn’t make the metres out of yardage as a Skelton but does carry at speed and often finds his front for a quick PTB.

Benji said they had to get an exemption to play him so Skelton must be carrying an injury or they would have had to pick him.

He was ok tonight. Made number of handling errors, don't actually win any duels in attack but contested enough for us to get a result or two. His defence is average and he struggles immensely in making metres
As a whole our entire backline were terrible with yardage. So many 20-25m sets where the backs combined for 4 hitups for 12m. We simply can't have such a small and slow backline.
But he did well defensively in the air and finished off a decent move. Solid overall. Did he add anything Skelton wouldn't have? I'm not sure. I would definitely have Skelton back next week for someone.
Also interesting that the club has promoted him without any communications yet again.
