Jahream Bula #269

I watched the May Podcast last night, where Bula was the Guest. There was a short segment of the interview regarding his future. He said absolutely nothing when May told him all the boys love him and want him to stay. Big opportunity to say something ,but he didn't. Reading between the lines,Id say he is gone......

I don't doubt he has received an offer, however it could be absolute rubbish and Tracey is being played by being offered unders, that way Gus can say we wanted to keep him and made him an offer, where in reality they are showing him the door. If the offer was any good it would have been signed immediately.

The fact they are even doing this publicly tells me that there something else going on here.

Wouldn't surprise me, the current narrative is they are crapping on all the players that have busted a gut to get them where they are. It looked like they were not even going to make Tracey an offer however he has probably done it to change the narrative and its probably bench utility/winger money as that's where he sees the value for him.

Yep agree. They’ll just move him on anyway. Shit club
 
I'm not sure what to think, a facebook group posted Bula has extended until 2030. Everyone commenting is saying it's an April fools joke, but one commentor said it's not it was mentioned on the radio this morning. Nothing official from the club.

More importantly Gus and all his media apostles will spin it as Tracey not being loyal and accepting an offer to stay, rather than Tracey got lowballed and screwed over so Gus and the club could save face by making him an offer....who knows...he may have already signed on and im talking crap.

Shaun (CEO) was on SEN. Got asked directly about the Bula situation.

Said something along the lines of all the conversations are regular & positive & it's an interesting one given all the clauses he/the club has. But gave nothing away.

Bula talked about the importance of faith and he goes to church with Pole. His motivation is being able to provide for his young family and buy a house.

There were references to uncomfortable situations and how the music being played in the gym doesnt align with his faith.

The poddy didnt give me any clarity on the contract scenario, but definitely highlighted how religious he is.

Well if he wants to look after his family and buy a home , WELL MR BULA , there’s not a lot between $900,000 and $1,000,000 if ur getting a 4-5 year deal , when u look around at the fans who love u are maybe on less than $200,000 year and that’s been kind , ur fellow players want u to stay , or do u want to join Galvin who is not having the best of times , remember the old saying the grass is not always greener , where u want to go too
 
I heard from a nrl player last week that bula was going to dogs.
Now that Tracey is being signed i would think not, however it is Gould so never too sure.

He knows that the club has 2 deals on the table and bulla has not taken either , to me that says a lot and these offers are not a few days old they are weeks old , mosses would already have clubs chatting about bulla heading to them , what they can offer eg /
Hay Mr Mosses we are looking for a fullback , quality , young , will do 4 year deal , good wages and conditions plus we can also get extras on the side like we do with other players in our team , do you have a fullback available , Mosses yes I do and he is not taking up his current club offers as yet , they are good offers at $ near a mill a season , that simple

Yeah the scene is still alive and kicking. I saw Ferry Corsten in November last year.
