It seems like lots of ‘top’ teams are out of form right now. Can’t help but think that this game is a huge opportunity for us.

Last year in this fixture, we nearly came back and won at the end of the game. Our team has improved since then, so hoping we can secure the W

I think it's alot to do with adjusting to the new rules

And the centres are back in play this year for the first time in a long time

I think when To'a and May are fit and in the team we will score alot more points both can beat a man one on one and To'a last year with some early ball was amazing better days ahead

Few players in premiership history have held on to a grudge as tightly as Mitch Moses seems to have against Wests Tigers.

Since joining the Eels midway through 2017, Moses has won 11 of his 13 games against the Tigers, his best record against any opposing team – and he has made his presence felt by either scoring, assisting or being heavily involved in at least one try in every match.

His 21 try assists against the Tigers is easily his most against any rival. Moses set up four tries in each of the past two Easter Monday clashes, something he has achieved just three other times.
Flat track bully. Stars against the poor sides.

Finals record?

That game was really emotional . It had just come out about the “10 reasons why Benji can’t coach “ list , the team hated the brat , and wanted him gone , and they played angry . It wasn’t a true representation . And lot of angry men on the field that day . And remember it was revealed at the time that the eels were knee deep in back door negotiations for him . So I think the occasion got the better of the boys especially early on . It wasn’t until later that they shrugged it off and confirmed how good they were . If they turn up with their heads screwed on right .. the eels will not be able to go with them in the forwards , a they have too many liabilities out wide to account for momentum . Kelly , And the backrowers especially . Kelly has elite talent with the ball , and is nsw cup level defensively . He had the talent to make origin . But he’s never learnt how to defend . The spaces either side of thier halves should be where we are attacking all day . Then turn it inside between the middles and the 4 man for a Bula , Sione or Pole run, should have some real joy .

What has Skelton done wrong , he killed it in his only game , we need his charges running the ball back , the kid is good but Skelton has the experience
Probs been said already but he played two games this season and that you can't remember the second one (against Souths) is perhaps why he's not starting.

Can't stand Moses...especially when he plays against us...Can we recruit Russell Packer just for this one game.....

I agree with May, Taylan May is an X factor we really need in our backline.

Toa, less so. At the moment were blooding Tavana and Makasini.
Makasini is a MUST resign and a total gun. I get the hype and I am 100% onboard this hype train.

When you put Makasini and May as right/left centers, people don't know which side we will attack down. When you put them both on the same side, sure we will go that side, as it would be a nightmare try scoring side.

T'oa is spare parts at this stage. Which is fine and with May's instability a good backup to have.

Yes 100% good point, have them on separate sides.

Theres little element of surprise these days....all teams play left and right and defenses expect it

Toa at his best is extremely damaging...seemingly chronic injury has dimished that it appears

May/Maka and Turuva/Tavana could be as dangerous as each other

I’m worried that Eels and Moses are due for a blinder and if we aren’t totally focused with 110% intent for the full 80 we could get spanked. Pressure has been building on Moses with Cleary shining the spotlight on him and with his poor start to the season. Hope he doesn’t step up against us this time.
Every player needs to really turn up for this one.
