Was even thinking Turuva and Tavana on one side and Herbert and Big Mak on the other

Big MaK has been getting bashed mite be hard for the young kid

Have noticed other coaches bring the kids in for a few weeks then send them back to lower grades then bring them back not to burn them out

Benji won't change a winning line-up atm unless enforced.

If Tavana's hamstring is still iffy by Sunday, then Herbert & Turuva on the right side.

I suspect AD will be nursed (i.e. no kicking duties) until Luai returns and then may be given a week or 2 off then to rehab his grumbly groin.

Based on Benji's comments Luai won't play.

I would lean towards Herbert at left centre & Makasini to left wing. One of there biggest threats is Dom Young on the right wing.

That would have Tavana opposed to Marzhew who he will out jump but will be hard to stop in D.

So alternatively Skelton to right wing, move Tavana to left wing to oppose Dom Young. Herbert onto the extended bench.

I would also look at giving Hope so time in Cup, Api & Latu can cover 9.

Seyfarth minutes in Cup as well & bring Sukkar up.

Twal made 50 tackles yesterday and at least 30 of them while he was playing as our 13.
As much as it would be great to fit all 4 of Luai, Doueihi, Latu Fainu and Jock Madden all in our top 17, I think it’s next to no chance that Benji will play an ex halve such as Doueihi or Latu as our starting 13. His plan is quite obviously to have a bigger bodied reliable defender starting at 13 and bring on a more attack minded player such as Latu at 13 at some stage of the game.
 
Luke Laulilli to miss one week due to suspension and you would assume Tino Tavana will be missing due to the hamstring injury he picked up late in the Eels game.

This next game will be a test of Benji and the coaching team. I think the Knights have played solid footy, however are winning because nobody knows their style, weaknesses, strengths as they are pretty much a whole new spine. There should be enough video now for our coaching team to formulate a plan to handle them......3 in a row please!

Benji mentioned in the presser it was a tight hammy. Tino seemed to be dancing ok during the team song in the sheds with no strapping on it lol so fingers crossed.

you are playing with house money.
Newcastle are pretty crap they dont have a Moses type player our forward will rip through them

think we get a price next week against Brisbane even with Brisbane injuries we probably start outsiders, open the shoulders then

Sandon Smith is composed - the two Fletcher's are weapons

Talent in the backs and forwards

We can't underestimate them. They are winning games for a reason.

Whilst Brown and Ponga are out, they are surplus to their needs IMO.

They are using there edge's great

Best is out but the guy they put in went well and the mullet Kings Hunt and Sharpe are everywhere lots of energy I think you have to bash them up and go down the middle there forwards gased at about the 65 minute mark and they are making spaces for Dom Young to use his size and speed
 
Dom Young is in crazy form.

Sandon Smith is also playing the mr fix it role extremely well like Jock Madden is for us

It’ll be another nail biter imo
