Yeah because stats tell everything. Maybe they should find a stat about overall attacking momentum and the ability to not kill all momentum in attack and get the ball out to a player in an attacking situation that then leads to them setting up another player, but the stats don't record that. Stats tell you everything you need to know.

I'm not moving the goal posts, it's just true. Stats don't tell everything, try assists mean nothing when the overall attack is worse. Talagi has played his hand in a lot of tries that aren't recorded as try assists for him on the stat sheet. He doesn't kill his team's attacking momentum like Luai does. Yeah he might have had a pretty good game against the Cowboys and that's where most of those stats come from. But when you go off all of last year and the Souths and Broncos game.
 
We do have a choice, he has a get out clause if he's unhappy not playing. Team first. We don't have to back a player that hasn't gotten us any results his whole time of being here then we magically get them with another player.
This difference in point of view comes down to personality differences. It would be good if all the players were robots with no emotion. Most aren’t.
