He is genuinely playing that well. Warriors are winning games based on their defence and he is a leader there. He is also putting up huge numbers, even more than Terrell May.

Yeah he’s a bit error prone but is playing 80 every week. Might hurt him in the back end of the year like it did to Terrell.

I have to admit that I haven’t been a big fan of AD in the past seasons. He was inconsistent previously playing 1 good game and then 4-5 where he lacked effort and intent. Somehow he seems to have reinvented himself. He is playing with desire every game and has taken to leadership really well. I often thought he was a selfish player and it still shows thru sometimes but Benji seems to have him firing and I hope he continues on the same trajectory. It seems belief, confidence, leadership and responsibility are what he needs to be at his best.

I’m same boat. To be fair he didn’t have great moments. Really think him spending time in the centers helped his game a heap defensively but also just having an injury free run is seeing his evolution continue in a settled role. He was always a good runner and deceptive speed, some of his decisions are improving alot year on year once settled. Credit to him.
