Luai leaving in 28 is a blessing in disguise. His contract value is heavily focused on attracting players and leadership. The squad is not in the same position as it was.

The biggest challenge is retaining players we have off contract. That said half of the star players in the league are off contract in 28 when the cap rises and PNG comes in.

Now we know we have the coin we have ti resign our off contract players.

Honestly I'm not upset by this.

We are very lucky for it to have happened after his injury layoff that saw us play our best footy in forever.

He makes our attack messy.

I just don't like the whole team first crap then this. I'm sure he'll come out to say the club has lots of good halves coming through and he didn't want to stand in the way - when really he saw the writing on the wall with regards to his stocks going down, fast.

This is perfect for us . How could we have asked Latu to wait u til he’s 24 to take the starting half spot ? Seriously . Now he’s going to take over at 22/23 . Perfect age . This is a good thing . Romey won’t dog the club . The club now can build around an evolution , slowly giving more control to our young leaders like Temunator and Samuela , and make a seamless transition in the halves . Latu AD starting , Andruws off the bench.

Perth is bit of a compound as well I hear. Prefer PNG - tax free. No govt. on your back. I mean it's the next big thing to being a politican without a suit and soul
