Honestly I'm not upset by this.

We are very lucky for it to have happened after his injury layoff that saw us play our best footy in forever.

He makes our attack messy.

I just don't like the whole team first crap then this. I'm sure he'll come out to say the club has lots of good halves coming through and he didn't want to stand in the way - when really he saw the writing on the wall with regards to his stocks going down, fast.

Nothing personal but we have been talkint about the juniors as our future for the last 15 years. Look where teddy and Moses are. Where pappy ended up. JAC.

We had Cooper Clarke in our systems and let him go

Blokes with a young family and tax free cash all living in the same compound? I reckon it's a bigger drawcard than was first thought. It would set you up for life.

The stupid thing is, the tax-free cash is for 10 years only, so good luck attracting anyone after that.

Sounded great at the time, but NRL has butt-pumped the other 18 clubs on this one.

This is perfect for us . How could we have asked Latu to wait u til he’s 24 to take the starting half spot ? Seriously . Now he’s going to take over at 22/23 . Perfect age . This is a good thing . Romey won’t dog the club . The club now can build around an evolution , slowly giving more control to our young leaders like Temunator and Samuela , and make a seamless transition in the halves . Latu AD starting , Andruws off the bench.

The chiefs had to pay / government paid a 4m fee to each club. The bears got in for free .
Thats the difference and why they won’t get cap relief .

Perth is bit of a compound as well I hear. Prefer PNG - tax free. No govt. on your back. I mean it's the next big thing to being a politican without a suit and soul

They will probably have a team full of good locals in 10 years with all that being money pumped into their juniors and systems

The 18 other clubs have taken money too to admit them..so bit of karma there perhaps …

We’ll see what happens with the Mays ….watching his pod ..he is always out and about ….loves eating in restaurants ..loves his food.. how many restaurants in the compound ?
