Live Game Discussion
Why do people put it out there in the media that they have a medical problem and then ask for privacy, when nobody would've had a clue they had a problem if they hadn't mentioned it?
They said he had an "undisclosed" neurodegenerative condition & didn't elaborate....not what I'd call full disclosure.

So even with that they are protecting his privacy to a degree, not going to any specifics, which the Media hoard would surely be pressing for with no doubt some inappropriate questioning from the gutter journos.

I don't agree Hammer did anything wrong, however neither did Api in my opinion.

In both circumstances the attackers got themselves in bad positions or got their foot caught as was it was in Api's case.
Fair point, but there is a situation where weaker guys are being buffeted around when trying to tackle stronger ones (Wishart looks pretty strong) and then players get in bad positions, and that's made worse with ever larger, faster and more mobile players.

That's exactly what I mean. On both occasions the attacker got into a bad position as much if not more so than the smaller defender left flailing.

Wah wah wah. None of our coaches were in the early stages of Parkinson’s either. The club probably knew he’d be getting questions about his health last night, even though they said that was the last they would speak on it. They were just looking out for him
Think what you want - the point is he dogged it after saying it wasn't going to affect him. All he had to do at the presser was say that he wouldn't be answering any questions about his health and personal situation and if they asked him questions about it he could just get up and leave. He has been fronting up to pressers for every other game and i'm sure his health wasn't that good. But suddenly when they have performed the worst start in their history he doesn't front up. I have sympathy for his personal situation and he probably needs to walk away from the game if its going to affect his performance.

He wouldn’t have turned up even if they had won.

Parkinsons is one of a few Neuro degenerative diseases...MND and Alzheimers too

Ive no problem with the Storm doing what they did at the presser, Bellamy has more than enough to deal with without having to cop vultures in the media questioning his health....this is shattering news for anyone and compassion and empathy is whats required in this situation
Yes and they are all different to how it may impact his role as a coach and how it progresses and his general prognosis. Could even be influenced by CTE.

Who’s the 11 for the titans. That was 3 sets of lazy . Didnt get back on side until the 4th tackle . Hands on hips and 10m behind the play the ball, he’s 10m behind the defensive line in kick /chase, and takes the easy option exposing his half against weeks.
I would literally hook him if I was his coach . Thats not good enough .

Can only speak about my dealings with my Mum and Parkinsons .....but it took a long time to confirm she had Parkinsons .....like 9 months as they have to rule everything else out
So he may have had some idea awhile ago
