In the off season we have to spend a bit of money on buying some quality backups caused the ones that we have got are not good enough for first grade the likes of Heath Mason bunty afoa Patrick Herbert hope and a few more are not first grade standard unfortunately we have to spend some money to buy at least one marquee player and her and some good quality forwards

we have 22 currently contracted for 2027 so we have 8 spots. Definitely need a backup hooker, 2 depth props and a gun centre. The problem is with the bears coming into 2027 and then png for 2028 going to be difficult to find superstars, as talent is running thin.

Need young super stars playing KOE.
But every club is doing that. A tough job.

The club needs to focus on extending Sam, Latu Fainu, Makasini, Pole, Turuva before November 1st if possible.

Next year Haywood is likely strong enough to be the backup hooker. Makasini should replace Lauili and Tavana the backup winger.

We need a strike right centre and another versatile back rower that can play all positions. We have limited versatility in the forwards they either play in the middle or on an edge .

Our lack of versatility is an issue whilst any team loses with these injuries the drop off is way too far as we cant cover.

Everyone saying buy a back up 1 and a 9. Last thing we want to do. Just need to be patient . By seasons end Brookes/ Attard / oitmmam and next season Isdale will be chomping at the bit to get a run at 1, while Haywood will likely be ready end of season for a few games. Latu should get some more games at 9, Reggie’s if needed.
Patience so we don’t jam up with players we don’t need.

I agree ttt. I think the plan into next season is Api as #1 hooker with Haywood his deputy next season. Latu as our #14 primarily lock but hooker & halves cover. IMO Josese Lanyon is playing himself into...
