I am dissapointed and were not winning. Clearly Api is far more critical to the team then we imagined.

Our depth isn’t NRL standards. The next man mentality works if you put in an effort despite skill gap. I’m still angry with what I saw from some players on Sunday and have done my best not be a keyboard warrior.
Sione is a good impact player
Bunty impact
Royce impact.

It will never work if you have impact players starting games and maxing out in 10mins.

Our team has gone backwards since the injuries.
You see the Panthers, Storm and to a lesser extent; Brisbane field no name players and they step up.
Ours for some reason drag us back to the same standards we have had for 15 years. Average at best.

Mason and Luai were hand slapping players. Reminded me of days of Tim Molzten and co. Playing touch.

Without a decent backup hooker for Api, we have dropped our line speed and weakened the middle.

We also lose a lot with Samuela out and Terrell was missing also. 3 pretty big outs from your pack all at once.

Samuela, Api, Douiehi and Bula is where our attack comes from...all out. Makes it hard.

If we loose against manly and they lap us we could drop to about 9 th , manly are going very well since foz took over we need them to trip up this week , they are pretty quick so we need to defend big time , early points to us would get our tail up and pull the manly side back a notch ,

Only plus for us this week is a reasonable success rate at Magic Round.

We didn’t turn up against the Storm our line speed was crap and we stuffed up. Coaching or someone got things wrong in preparation. At the game could see it easily and just knew it early - was like the team of old - you just new early if we wanted to play or not.

It's not all of them just some of them and actually most of them. Twal was still racing up as he has done all season, but no support. Hope, Bunty, and Sione were the worst offenders. Passive line speed and slow getting to marker.

Which is why you scratch your head, Latu was looking good just starting to settle and Benji takes him off and we have bloody Madden and Hope out there, work that one out.

The latu situation isnt as clear cut as you make it out to be.

It would be selfish of benji to throw latu on and play him for extended periods when he isnt ready... He has battled injury his entire career and he's only what 20 or 21?

I dont mind the approach..
Build up his minutes gradually
Get the runs under his belt.

Thats my take anyway
