I've been thinking about a possible Jarome replacement, which really isn't hard because he's a dud and there are lots of options.

Jock Madden is only 26, and he's growing into a halves and leadership position. I like him.

I used to watch "On the Buses" and the show that followed it "Mind Your Language" as a kid back in the 70s, poor old Blakey was my favourite character.

Neither show would be aired on network TV these days due to the content, like the American show "All in the Family". If you said half the things Archie Bunker used to say you'd get arrested.😆😆

It's not so much bad language but the blatant misogynist, homophobic, racist content used as the main source of "humor" that wasn't even blinked at in the 70s....not much swearing at all.

Even the Paul Hogan Show & Kingswood Country wouldn't air these days. I can't imagine any show these days that would feature close ups of Delvene Delany & Karen Pinney's bums & boobs, or a character like Ted Bullpit racially villifying his son in law on prime time TV. Same goes with the Benny Hill Show among others.
