I am not sure you can single him out. According to the stats below, he is not THAT bad. This said, he is part of a bigger problem, at the WT, I feel. And when fans walk out, or boo, at the game, it is time for everyone that runs the club to take a long and hard look at what they are doing, coach included.

Is there an unforced error comparison section to go with those above? That table shows Pole as a guy who can break more tackles than a workhorse, but doesn't make enough tackles or metres to match them.

Glaringly, not only does the average defensive specialist provide more variety through offloads, Fonua gets a duck egg.

Terrell said as much the other day. His loyalty is to the coach, not the club. A lot of supporters want us to kowtow to both sets of brothers by bringing their brothers to the club to keep them all happy. But if they are going to dish up what they did today, why should we care if they’d want to quit the club if Benji goes. What would we be losing?

Thought I would stop by after being inactive on here for a while. Thought I should remind some people of how absolutely useless and objectively bad of a player Jarome Luai is. We would just be so much better off without him at all. Doueihi would obviously be ideal but since Luai is going to PNG why don't we just see how Latu and Madden would go together? You can't convince me that we would be any worse off, why do we even owe Luai any game time? Shove him in reserve grade or have him on the extended bench. He's just so trash I can't believe he's on the money he is. I can't believe he's our captain, Twal would be better off sharing the captaincy with Koroisau. Anyways thought I would come back and rage bait some delusional people, after all I created this account just to trash on him.

And don't come at me with some "he's our captain on $1.2 million, we can't drop him." Yeah he's on $1.2 million and trash and a horrible captain who dogged the boys after crying about team first. Drop him now and promote Twal, he leads more with his actions on the field than Luai ever could with any words or any anime aura he thinks he has.

Personally I’d sack anyone that says they are playing for the coach.
That’s a load of nonsense.
How about the club who employ you? the fans who support you? and the companies who finance you?
It’s a holistic thing and saying your loyalty is to a coach who is still learning how to actually coach is ridiculous.

Worst signing ever is a coveted title. Blair will always take some beating. Luai would have to be up there. Has legitimately only had one or two good games for us in a season and a half.

Yeah, my initial frustration with officiating (which is in general as a game, not just tigers) eased off the shitter we were...

Its so disheartening to spend the money i do on memberships and merch for the family to watch that sort of performance.. its been the same bs for years.

How does it improve next year? We will have the same depth basically, maybe less. So a few injuries and we are back to this bs again?

The start to this year was good whilst it lasted, real good.

Having Api and Jahream back last week and a similar intensity with Twal still in the engine room brought most of that needed to cover for the missing Samuela, along with Doueihi and Taylan against a midfield team in the dogs.

Sadly, WT just cannot compete with a runaway team like Penrith for long periods in our current iteration, and especially so when we give up early possession like today.

Like a few others have said Latu needs to be given a chance in the halves, for who i don't care either or they were both bad but given how far Benji is up Jerome's arse i'd say Jock gets the flick.

I don't think Latu is going to turn the team around all of a sudden and we will start winning, we have too many out and unless we have our full strength team we are not competitive especially against top teams

I'd love to know what our "nursery" is producing. Surely for the last 10 years, next to nothing (considering where we have been sitting on the table). We can't produce (or retain?) our own and can only pay for has beens - a vicious cycle unaltered by whoever wears the coach's hat or manages the whole thing. Yes, we are not alone in the NRL, but on the field, there is not much that separates us (from the rest of the underperforming clubs).
