Pretty happy with these selections overall considering our injuries. Good ti see Sukkar get a chance against a weaker team for once. He always seems to come in when we are playing a top team away from home and we get pumped

I think Fainu at lock is good, let him work his butt off, not worrying about defending on the edges.

Yeah bench is horrible but not much we can do.

Jock must have passed the physical? He was nursing his right arm before Benji took him off.

Maka has nursed his shoulder for the last 2 games. And I'm not sure how he would pass a physical. At his age you would think it's better to give him time off

I'm kind of happy with the side. I thought Sukkar, Madden, Toa and Makasini were all out injured so happy to see them in the side. This team may even be able to beat the Titan's.

If the real Starford To'a stands up it does look like a better defensive team out wide, where teams have murdered us all year. As long as Makasini doesn't get nervous under the high ball, we should win this one.

I say bite the bullet and put Latu in the halves and see if he sinks or swims.
Jock can either play 9 or bench as cover but Latu has had enough game time to give it a go.

I mean it’s as good as it can be I suppose. I was expecting worse. Bench as expected is very weak, hopefully they can get through their stints without screwing up too much.

If he is nursing a shoulder perhaps Luke L is there to replace him prior to the game. named on extended bench. Same with Andrews for Madden, although i would prefer Latu for Madden, however that would mean hope to starting 9, Murray to 14.

I dont think madden has played or trained at 9, where as latu has.

I am all for making the switch with latu but i dont think this is the game for it

Observation 1 - Josese Lanyon in the 22 so would cover if Madden drops out with Latu moving to halfback (Hope hooker, Lanyon bench).

Observation 2 - Hope named to start at hooker in NSW Cup. Usually players in the NRL 19 do not get selected in Cup. Oversight somewhere.

EDIT - the club has corrected it by removing Hope's name from Cup team. It was there just before. Hmmmm smelling a Lanyon debut smokescreen.

I guess it's the best team we can come up with considering the injury toll when will Latu get a crack in the halves Madden has never cut it for me, our bench is horrendous.
I hope the crowd at LO can get the boys over the line.
