Bloody hell, Twal, Sam Fainu, KPP, Hunt, Seyfarth likely.
Hopefully we can add someone immediately in the next fortnight or sooner

A full forward pack of our regular 17 missing there, with most of them being medium to long term too. Middles are one thing, but after seemingly waiting an eternity to have a pair of top shelf edges, missing Samuela and KPP for half a season or so really sux.

My conclusion- When you are already spending millions on young halves … you don’t want some 17 yr old kid in your face asking for more NRL Top 30 money…

Let me ask you a question now…How do you reckon this poor kid Conti felt when he left here to join the Bulldogs to get away from Galvin …and then a few months later Gus is slobbering all over him ?

Been watching him closely since he was mentioned as someone we should look at.....I was not impressed, and it doesn't look like too many NRL clubs are.

We had a plethora of halves at the club at the time ( Latu , Galvin and Bud amongst them) … that’s the way it goes sometimes

Large won the GPS 100 m sprint a cple of years back...hes no slouch..., had the potential to play in another position, at least for the interim..particularly given Luais contract situation
we poorly managed IMO

If it’s Luke L I would have Blore hear straight away , has experience , tough , and works hard , we got Luke covered , good kid but covered , maybe we also push for Alverillo early and grab a prop although I read we just got a prop from Newtown off memory

We need both before June 30 if we can afford..and if theyre released
At Jume 30 theres peanuts left on this years contract...but most teams wont release early to give any advantage to a compeitor

Ive got us finishing 9th if we win the following games:

Dragons x 2
Bulldogs
Raiders
Eels
Cowboys

The for and against is gonna kill us

Definitely need someone to come in and fill in for kpp and samuela asap.

I know with a full squad its the dumbest idea ever, but could we have douhei fill in on an edge?
We have depth in the halves and can make do with madden and luai.
But I dont think we make do with sionie and whoever fills in..

I disagree we poorly managed that situation. It was a case that we'd been poorly managed for so long that kids and their parents and agents thought they could have crazy clauses inserted into contracts as teenagers. That was a line in the sand moment

I know we cant live in the world of what ifs, but without the injury run we are probably 3rd - 5th... theres no way we get dusted by the sharks or storm. Probably would have given manly a run for their money too. The damn for and against.

I have us losing our next two - both 30+... the way kini opened us up down the middle both the knights and dolphins will be all over that.
