Having a look through Dolphins predicted starting 17 - man they look good. If Cobbo fires at centre and Flegler hits the ground running I think your prediction could be spot on.

NRL is far too predictable these days

Premiership threats:

Penrith
Canterbury
Roosters
Broncos
Storm

Fighting for the eighth:

Most other teams - Raiders, Eels, Sharks Dolphins up there.

Bottom four:

Dragons
Cowboys
Titans

Tigers- 11th

Storm
Penrith
Sharks
Raiders
Tigers
Broncos
Bulldogs
Roosters
Bunnies
Dolphins
Manly
Knights
Warriors
Cowboys
Eels
Dragons
Titans

I’m picking us for top 5. That’s my joker for the season. We will all enjoy this year best since 2011 I reckon. DCE will be rubbish and embarrassing at the roosters. He’s not in the same league as cooker cronk.

Luai is one of the best 5/8s to play the game and I think he’s in for a huge season with real strike around him now. Api will have an Indian summer season not having to be the man. Broncos will really struggle to replicate what they had last year and eat themselves alive. Dragons are new wt too many old veterans and sad coach .

The Raiders winning the minor premiership last year was one of the most shocking things I’ve seen in the NRL …maybe since the Tigers winning in 2005..lot of good judges picked them in the bottom couple
Add to my comment a couple of teams will overachieve and a couple will underachieve.

Still bloody predictable if you ask me.

Sticking with my pre-season prediction of 11th but if we could just get over this injury curse and find a couple of guys to play on the edges we might sneak in. Big games to come v Dragons, Eels, Dogs, Raiders.

We need to be winning those.

Realistically, we need 13 wins to make the 8 (especially with our for and against). We are currently on 7 wins. So we need 6 more wins from 11 games. Not impossible, but not easy given our injury crisis.
Here's my prediction:

1. Panthers
2. Warriors
3. Roosters
4. Sea Eagles
5. Dolphins
6. Sharks
7. Rabbitohs
8. ---

8th is a shoot-out between us, Knights and Cowboys, which I currently have all on 30 points at the end of the regular season. If Knights or Cowboys could loose more than they win, that would be helpful. But in the end, we need to win. Like we did at the start of the year.

We also play the Knights and Cowboys in our remaining games, of course every game is kmportant but I would be circling these games as must wins in the context of our season

We go undefeated until round 27

Mark my word

Reggies Cup in round 27 when Penrith and Tigers rest their entire squad

🤣

All jokes aside, we probably have one of the more favorable draws in the comp coming up. If the boys are serious about winning, idc who we have out we win. We play

FIns (impacted by Origin)
Knights
Dragons
Wahs
Dogs
Raiders
Parra
Dragons
Roosters
Cows

Only two of those teams are in the top 8 atm, one which would be under strength

Honestly no excuses in missing the 8. We have what should be 6 guaranteed points in Dragons x 2 and the bye. Knowing us, we lose, but if Benji and the boys are serious, we should be comfortably in the top 8 by the end of year
