Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Dunster , where is he currently playing / what club , I thought he left Parra but not sure to where , cheap signing , was fairly good player before injury , suite reserve grade for us

I recall a very good debut for the Eels where he demonstrated a lot of character especially in defence where he was the focus of the opposition's attack.

He was with the Eels last season and I think he is just returning from a 2nd ACL injury ?
He might prove to be someone we can call on to play a few NRL games for us if we keep getting injuries as he at least has a bit of height, generally safe under the high ball and his yardage carries are generally decent, but when you consider he is 27y.o and has not played any NRL for quite a long time, we could have opted for much younger, bigger, stronger and faster options who have played and done well at NRL level over the past 12 months such as James Schiller or Sione Finau.

Schiller & Finau would warrant top 30 deals, you’d assume this is just a NSW Cup deal

He has had a few injuries himself … he is likely on a train and trial … so pretty much zero risk there …

Someone posted part of a Toohey (I believe) article which includes advice the Knights are not re-signing Schiller.

Schiller is one of those players with all the attributes to be a great winger - good pace, size and evasion but in the games I've watched him play for the Knights, has that error in him at critical times. Handling is an issue.
