I can see Bula and Jake forming good combinations..backing each other up, with speed.
Main difference is Averillo prefers right side which we need, Xerri supposedly annoyed earlier this year when moved from the left

Their backline is stacked. It’s an incredible list.
He’s a very good NRL standard player with plenty of pace. He’s a great signing. I’m baffled why anyone would be against this to be honest.

Xerri made his debut at the Sharks at right centre. The highlights below confirm he played right side. I am not sure what his issue was as a player imo should be able to play more than one position. Warning - turn the volume down.

I think Xerri is a good player but very hard for us to compete against Storm and Parra. Also, Averillo and Xerri are differnt types of players. One is footwork, passing and speed whereas the other is strong in contact and a bigger body.
We need speed on the edges, we already have Taylan who's a better version of Xerri.
Happy with the signing and the reported price.

Ken must be on wheels by now. He wasn’t to bad with us for a retiree.
