He looks fitter here then when he was playing
Good on him for losing something like 30 kgs .. but in saying that that's the problem .. he has lost weight and muscle to lose that 30 kgs .. he well need to hit the gym and build up the muscle mass and strength to withstand the heavy contact from playing NRL again. I really hope it works for the kid this time.

Some on here would have you believe we were/are a destination club and able to pull the likes of walsh and hass on unders 😂😂.. the draw card being lidcombe oval and watching Reggie's play in the magpies strip

I don't think many on here would believe that (perhaps 1 or 2 spring to mind),however i think just about all of our HBG owners are deluded enough to believe it.

Cap goes up a huge amount in 2028, apparently an extra 2.5 mil plus..suddenly 900k might be more like 700k in today’s game
Regardless I still think there will be quite a few teams who can outbid us for an ageing prop.
Our only chance is if he wants to stay in the west of Sydney and we can outbid the likes of the Panthers, Eels and Bulldogs.
Leota is a very good player and been top 3 on grounds in a couple of the Panthers GF wins, but even with a Sallary Cap increase I think he would be too much of a risk paying 1 million or more per season for him at his age.

My Manly buddies have only starteed watching him in recent weeks..so theyre over the moon
Sheens and Benji just cldnt kick start him
He will do great..unfortunately
As I recall they were pretty keen on Tommy Talau too.
If you watched Toa’s game against the Cows when we scored 66 points you’d have offered him a million a year. He looked like Reg and Mark Gasmier combined. Sadly that’s not his usual output.

Hit the weights and eat up if he needs weight , I’m sure club has given him some targets but I don’t think there would be a big plan for him to play anytime soon , probably see how he goes for 3 or 4 weeks under instructions of training , weights , diet , plus he will, need plenty contact training as he hasn’t played in a year , but good start so far
Oh for sure hopefully he can bulk up a bit, tbh I doubt the club has any plan to play for the whole season, they may even let him train until next season to get himself fully right

I was a fan when he got here, a good size and an actual centre, and decent coming through the grades from all reports at the time. I had high hopes for him. But for me it was not how he towelled up Val on his best day but how he was not ready for Val to come back at him, and afterwards looked gun shy. Anyway I’m not fussed he’s going, I don’t blame us for this one. There’s a Star in there if he could be a supernova or a black hole it’s up to him to stop being a sook ‘n pussy.
Newcastle were happy to see the back of him when we signed him and they were not going well at the time. Tells you a bit

I agree.

We have been told "drugs are... Bad M'key" for decades.

I am very cautious. I definately know people where drugs (both medical and recreational) have seriously messed up their life. I also know others where the right drugs have helped them function.

Recently it was revealed that the German Army was high on Stimulants. This was one reason why they got an advantage over the French. Not that I am going to war anytime soon, but that's one usecase.

I am very reluctant to trust the US Pharmacuticals. Like how the Harm of Tobacco smoke was buried in the 40's, I could definately see harms buried now.

All said, Happy for people to use if that's what they need to life a good life without harming others.
WW2 was rife for methamphetamine stimulant use Was called Pervitin. Have a read about the case of the Finnish soldier Aimo Koivunen. He accidentally took an entire platoons supply and had one hell of an adventure
