Cash is 100% relevant, do you think we are spending the same as successful clubs on, pathways, scouting and coaching ?

Why could Chelsea splash cash ? Because the owner had it and was motivated to because he wanted to win !!!!

The owners are the leadership group, they set the strategic objectives and provide the resources to execute them.

They set standards and drive the culture and what's acceptable.

Re builds start with your no7. Battling teams need an elite organising no7 with a first class kicking game. Luai has not been a disaster but he has not been the half we needed. A player like Fogarty would have been great.

I guess it is hard to get a handle on this years performance with so many crucial injuries but my gut feeling is we would have still fallen down the black hole and missed the eight. It’s also hard to get optimistic about 2027 although I think 2028 things may change
