Parents have told the club x 2 not to rush him, so hopefully they have listened.
Strange that the parents would be making that call. I hope it’s not another Galvin dad situation.. Jared seems very different person but it’s really a matter between the coach and Jared,, he cannot be the one calling the shots especially at this stage of his career ,, I could understand them saying they are happy and excited to be at the club and that they trust the coaches to know how to develop him and do not expect him to be rushed at their request in a humble way… thing is the kid can really play footy, his skill and guile around the ruck is teriffic,, his one on one defence is the only facet of his game that is needing improvement combine with a bit more strength

Very crisp with his passing game, probably best I’ve seen in the club this season from any 9. Obviously needs to be seen whether he can deliver in firsts but one way to find out
One of the elephants in the room at WT is API’s pass out of dummy half is poor. It’s slow, loopy and often not on target. This deprives the first receiver of valuable split seconds which can make or break a wide block play. Lanyon is worse. You watch Brailey, Joey Lussick, even Robson, they have excellent passes. You watch the wallabies play last Saturday night and the way the half backs pass, I can’t understand how league hookers can’t pass like this in a professional era.

Think it’s awesome and totally opposite to Galvin.
Parents & the kid sound level headed and focused on the bigger game. They have seen a bunch of kids all get a run at nrl and most punted.

I’m glad someone else has pointed this out…spot on about API’s passes out of DH the last 2 games especially poor…slow looping passes…gives the opposition time to get in our faces….look at TDS his passes are sharp and crisp….

I'd be thinking they'd be saying it in the sense of they're not expecting him to be thrust into NRL before he's ready just to make mummy and daddy happy like Mr Galvin and Mr Large demanded

Did you watch Robson in Origin 2? His terrible service was a major contributor to NSW not being able to make any yards in possession
