LIVE GAME Round 19 versus Warriors

Live Game Discussion
I couldn’t care less what you have to say about me. You said you go to every game so I thought id ask the question. You want to continually question the Campbelltown fans passion and love for the club, so I just gave you one example of someone who loves the club. It shouldn’t be a competition between fans. We are a failure of a club which is hard to admit that when you are passionate about it. Our results are garbage and I don’t see that changing much regardless of where we play.
Enjoy sitting in your ivory tower today, maybe get outside for a bit
I didn't say anything about you. Get the chip off your shoulder.

Last week you lost your emotions at me as well.

None of what you say addresses the point I was making. Just adding in extras that were never said to shift the goalposts. Part of the problem at the club tbh.

So how come we have won 8 games at leichardt the last 3 years with only 3 losses? Where as it's 4/21 at Campbelltown?

You can't put it down to luck.. 4/21 is damning.
4 from 21 is a reflection of our results of the last few years. There is no denying that we are playing terrible there and I don’t know what the solution is. Just saying don’t play there the place is a shithole and the fans are shit is insulting to us fans and that attitude will only drive more people away. Our last few home games are now at commbank and our crowds and results there are crap too in my opinion. Wasn’t the crowd around 17k on a Sunday against the dogs? That’s not worth it

I hear this argument a lot. How do you explain the incredible win ratio at Leichhardt during the same period.

You realise the win record at Campbelltown over 100 games there is 38%? That includes 2005.

All excuses.

Have a look at some of your posts last night.. talking shit

To be clear... It is not a Balmain vs Wests thing

The issue with Wests is with Wests Ashfield... Nothing to do with Wests McArthur..

They need to invest in the area.. but maybe they need to only play 2 games a year there to create the demand so that they don't take it for granted and turn up.

You get at least 15k ppl if that was at leichardt last night.

Still can't believe the warriors chant was louder than the tigers.
Dragons chant a few years back was louder also. It never feels like a home ground.

Vs dolphins at Campbelltown there was 12k for a 3pm kick off on a Saturday arvo.. so I don't know how you can say 17k at CommBank, for a game we won, isn't worth it. Better crowd and a win...

I understand where you are coming from though as some ppl do attack it in the wrong way...

We won which is great and if we win one more game this year it has to be the dogs again. But we should be selling out commbank against the bulldogs and getting crowds of around 15k to out of town sides at Campbelltown. We start playing well consistently and I hope they both can rise

I don't disagree that ideally we get more than 17k to the dogs game...

But you'd then also have to agree that a game vs warriors at Campbelltown should almost be sell out given the warriors fans in the region.

Also, it's not like leichardt games are against local teams either. Titans, cowboys and raiders.. none of those fans travel. Yet they sell it out.. even when the team is going shit..

I'm not trying to get in a pissing contest either mate, it's just the truth of the situation... And I don't know the answer.. but think something needs to change

I feel like after last weeks loss a few of our fans have given up on our season which is fair enough. The players also seem to have given up which is unacceptable. Mate I can’t argue about the dud crowds the last couple games here. I’d like to know from people that aren’t bias towards the ground like myself what can be done

I love leichardt. But I don't let that get in the way of my judgement... Because whilst id love to play more games at LO instead of CommBank, i actually see the value in CommBank as a modern stadium. No matter where you sit you have a good view. There's great corp facilities.. the team also seem to turn up there (most of the time)

Hopefully we get some good facilities at Leichhardt for the fans and it is t just focused on corporates.
Is there a chance that Leichhardt loses some of its allure after the new Reno’s?
Hopefully not

For me anytime a club gets beat by 60+ points rings a death knell for rest of the season. I know that for WT it’s also disruption with injuries, poor back up roster and questionable coaching strategy etc. …. but all up a very hard task to recover from.

So now with player movements in play also …. Our season is dead and dusted. Time to move on and do something else.

Haven't commented much in last few weeks
The usual mid season implosion has taken place
We started the year winning 5 of 7
Our 2 losses were by 4 pts and 1 point
Then injuries and suspensions to our best players and the depth is not there
BUT lately I'm seeing half hearted efforts and both terrible defence and now also terrible attack ( 4 tries in last 3 games )
Benji persists with Makasini who is a truly bad defender and also can't score trys .
Our trainers need to adapt to building their bodies so they don't dislocate shoulders ,rupture pecs or knees or hammys
OH WELL NEXT YEAR !
